Hello My Fellow Deviants!

Ah… it’s been such a long time since I’ve come on here and wrote a decent journal entry. I know I disappeared a while back and had like 78+ messages and arts to look at. But now I’m getting back into the groove of things and I’m starting to pay more attention to a lot of things recently.

For starters I’m actually learning to draw and color. No, seriously! I’m in my first drawing class in college and I’m actually learning to draw! Coloring has been a very recent project that has been happening. I’ve been learning how to shade in various directions instead of one to three directions. I’ve been learning how to blend certain colors to get the best effect that I see in my Mind’s Eye. I’m learning more from college than I did in high school; middle school is an exception because I had a really good teacher that actually knew how to teach than my high school teacher. I’ll be posting up my projects soon!

One of my projects is already a print. It is the Still Life pic, and an older pic of mine, Cherry Trees, has become a print and both are available in a majority of sizes and paper types (glossy pics and whatever the other two are). So, if you are interested in either one of the pics and want to have them on your wall; then head to the Prints section.

Because I’ve learned a great deal of things in Drawing I, I’m looking at drawing artwork with a new pair of glasses [_{even though I don’t wear any} ] and am thinking of bigger ideas, done with different types of medias, and on different sizes of paper. Can’t to show what I have!

Now for some bad news. Unfortunately, I am giving up on the Commissions. I thought I would do well in it and I haven’t. I guess I’m just not attentively ready for such a commitment commissions have. Don’t worry =madmick2299 your commission is ready, just needs to be posted!

Which is why I am instead going to do prints and limited time offer projects! Like bookmarks, having a certain print on a coffee mug, or an anime wallscroll, etc. I’ve been wanting to do such projects for a long time, and now I have the skills and materials to do such projects. I may go back a do a commission every now and then, but I can’t make any promises.

How was everyone’s Halloween? Happy and full of treats and tricks, I hope. I had a blast as I spent Halloween at ~yunalia’s place with =YukiMizuno and ~Babyphatdoll642 with her son joining us in the festivities. We played games, caught up on each other’s lives, done some things on our laptops, carved a jack-o-lantern, roasted marshmellows and whole lot more! Pictures of the pumpkin will be posted shortly. Thank you for all the fun ~yunalia we got to do it again sometime!
